Not just tasty, they are a great center piece as well! Closely associated with foie gras and liver due to their rich texture and flavour. They can be enjoyed on top of a bowl of rice, as sushi, or even in soups! To make full use of their beautiful shells, pour a touch of sake into the shells and cook them over a direct flame.
