The season for sardines is generally said to be from summer to autumn, but as the haiku word "spring sardines" implies, early spring is the peak fishing season on the Sea of Japan side. We will deliver sardines fried in Hokuriku.
Whole or Filleted This fish is available whole or filleted. Whole fish may weigh slightly less than listed with the innards removed. Filleted fish weights are nett flesh yields with the head, bones and innards removed.
