Often called the "King of White Fish", Tai is a delicious and revered fish. With its sakura colours, it is often served and eaten on auspicious occasions, coupled with its delicate texture and mild sweetness, it is one of the most popular fishes in omakase restaurants. Our Tai can be enjoyed in a variety of ways, as sashimi with simple soy sauce, or lightly blow-torched to give it a smokey flavour and to render out some of its fat. Coming straight from the Sendai, the largest fish market in Tohoku, you know you are getting only the finest produce.
